I love knitting with Vanna's Glamour and the Superwash Merino. I've made some gorgeous shawls and purses from Vanna's Glamour.

Hard to pick a favorite but I'll have to go with Homespun, it works up quickly and has great colors and texture!

favorites are wool Ease and Vanna's Choice, and the Fisherman's Wool too

I actually have two favorites, Wool-Ease and Vanna's Choice. Winter sweaters are with Wool-Ease and Vanna's Choice for everything else. Love the colors of Vanna's

I have always really appreciated the Wool-Ease Chunky. It is my go-to for hats and scarves. The color palette is bold, I can always find a color to match my idea. But the colors have enough subtleties to make cables and ribs stand out. The sturdiness of the fibers creates something warm and toasty that also can hold a design well. It makes a simple pattern look polished! I have worked with Homespun, and enjoy its color variations.

Anything non-acrylic -- although I did do a bunch of contract scarf-knitting for a women in New York, back in the day, using Homespun. She had me use one skein/scarf and knit them up on broomstick needles. One scarf took 45-60 minutes! She paid me $10/scarf for those, with which I eventually bought a pair of red-and-white shoes. Was kind of sad to finally give those up ... But the whole project did introduce me to all the beautiful colors in the Homespun line (which I also used to crochet a massively dense sweater, circa 2003). My name: Anna Broadway.

Homespun is my favorite! I'm just finishing up an afghan right now. So soft! :)

I love Lion Brand Homespun. It's so soft to work with and seems like it gets softer as you work with it.

I love the LB Thick & Quick for warm, quick winter knits.

I'm just entirely taken with @LionBrandYarn 100% Organic Cotton. The colors are soothing and delicious. it's completely itch-free, and mother earth rejoices at it's chemical/herbicide/pesticide free nature. I love using it for anything that touches the skin @beautifulpurpose.etsy.com , but have also used it to create organic coasters. Thanks @FiberstoryTV for the info on the giveaway. :)

Definitely Cotton Ease. I've made blankets, scarves and my wedding chuppah out of it!

My favorite yarns are LB Homespun and cotton ease. I started crocheting with Homespun making scarves like I am Oprah giving away cars. I like cotton ease because it has the best of both worlds: acrylic tension and cotton absorption. Michele McClellan

homespun is my favorite to use when i loom knit

Cotton-ease its great for the quick projects in the summer.

@ElevenHandmade Glad you were able to give Cotton-Ease a try! Just FYI, we do ship to Latvia from LionBrand.com. Good luck with the drawing! - Jess

@MalindaLloyd LB Collection Superwash Merino is definitely my go-to yarn for sweaters! - Jess

Jiffy! but I also like home spun. Want to try that super wash merino!

I was visiting US recently and had a chance to crochet with Cotton Ease by @LionBrandYarn - it was very easy to work with: felt like a cotton, but I also liked the blend of acrylic - made it feel even softer. @LionBrandYarn is not available in Latvia where I live - so it was fun to try it out while I was visiting. I loved the quality of Cotton Ease.PS - Superwash merino wool looks sooo yummy....

Like many others, I think my favorite @LionBrandYarn would be Vanna's Choice. Seems to be the one I gravitate to the most and it includes a huge variety of colors... especially bright ones (and bright colors are my fave)! It's a nice affordable yarn that works up into a really great, soft texture.
